Earning Additional Benefits as a Pensioner

If you retire, begin to receive a monthly pension benefit, and later return to Covered Employment, you will continue to receive your Initial Pension Benefit and may earn additional pension benefits. The amount of your additional pension benefits and when they will be paid depend on your age and other factors. The methods used to calculate additional pension benefits are complex and the additional amounts you receive depend on whether you retired at Normal Retirement Age or earlier. Click on the links below for more detailed information about calculating these additional benefits.
