Pensioners and Beneficiaries Please Note:

Changes to the Federal Withholding Tax Tables will be reflected in the January 1, 2015 benefit payment.  Additionally, effective on the same date the following states will change their tax table: Arkansas, California, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

You may see an increase or decrease in the amount of your after-tax benefit payment for these reasons.  We suggest that you consult your tax advisor to determine if a change to your Federal and/or State withholding status and/or number of deductions is needed.  If so, the Federal and State withholding forms are located in the Applications & Forms section of this website.


Your 2013 Annual Covered Earnings Reports are scheduled to be mailed on August 28, 2014.  The cover letter references the following documents:

  4. Rehab 204h Notice
  5. Plan Document



Required Notices - July 25, 2014

As required by law, the following items will be mailed to Participants, Beneficiaries, Employers, AFM and AFM Locals on July 25, 2014:

  1. Cover Letter
  2. Notice of Critical Status for Plan Year Ending March 31, 2015 - The Plan was certified in critical status. It describes the legal reason for that certification and discusses the implications of it.
  3. Annual Funding Notice for Plan Year Ending March 31, 2014  - All defined benefit plans (including the Plan) are required to provide you with this annual notice, regardless of their funded status.  Please be aware that parts of this notice reflect the finances of the Plan as of April 1, 2013 rather than March 31, 2014




Notice to Participants and Beneficiaries Regarding Funding Relief - This document advises you that the Plan's Board of Trustees elected to take advantage of special rules that provide a longer period for the Plan to take into account the unprecedented investment losses in the Plan year ending March 31, 2009. The notice also discusses the implications of that election.

NEW and NOTEWORTHY - Pension Estimator Enhancements - The updated version of the Pension Estimator automatically populates the contributions for benefit periods A through E with the contributions from the participant's last published Covered Earnings Report.  The participant can enter future projected contributions prior to generating an estimate.  The Estimator can be used by any registered participant regardless of whether s/he is currently vested in a pension benefit.
